The VSO is a unionized, part-time, fully professional, per service orchestra. Under the direction of music director Andrew Crust, the symphony enters its 91st season in 2025-2026 with performances planned statewide in concert halls, beautiful natural settings, and historic and community buildings. In addition to concert programming, VSO's SymphonyKids presentations annually reach thousands of school children statewide.
