Additional information: 🇩🇪 Die Kammerphilharmonie Freiburg ist ein anspruchsvolles Sinfonieorchester und besteht aus ca. 70 ambitionierten Musiker*innen. Den musikalischen Schwerpunkt bildet das sinfonische Repertoire von der Klassik bis zur Moderne. Gemeinsam ist uns die Freude, in wöchentlichen Proben aund regelmäßigen Konzerten auf hohem Niveau zu musizieren.

🇬🇧 The Kammerphilharmonie Freiburg e.V. is a renowned symphony orchestra comprising around 70 dedicated musicians. Our musical focus is on the symphonic repertoire, ranging from the Classical to the Modern periods. What unites us is the joy of making music to a high standard during our weekly rehearsals and regular public concerts.

Wöchentliche Proben (mittwochs von 19:30-22:00 Uhr) während der Vorlesungszeit
Zwei Konzerte am Ende jedes Semesters in Freiburg sowie im Umland
1-2 Probenwochenenden pro Semester
Pro Semester wird ein vollständiges Programm erarbeitet. Die Programme sind durch eine Programmkommission in gemeinsamer Absprache bestimmt.
Bereitschaft zur Beteiligung an einer dirigentischen Arbeit im semester-/projekt-basierten Wechsel (Dirigenten-Pool)
Vergütung über einen Honorarvertrag (3.000 EUR pro Semester)

🇬🇧 Job description
Weekly rehearsals (Wednesdays from 7.30 pm to 10.00 pm) during term time
Two concerts at the end of each semester in Freiburg and the surrounding area
1–2 rehearsal weekends per semester
A full programme is prepared each semester. The programmes are determined by a programme committee.
Willingness to participate in conducting duties on a semester- or project-based rotation (conductors’ pool)
Remuneration via a fee contract (€3,000 per semester)
